SOC 103 (Social Problems) Research Assignments

1.  Mini Paper on issues related to Homelessness and Affordable Housing

  • Find 15 sources on your chosen social problem
  • Most articles should be scholarly.
  • Gather data from the U.S. sources.
  • Use the research and data to write about a resolution for the social problem.

2. Mini paper on a global social problem related to LGBTQ+ issues. (minimum of 12 pages)

  • Find 15 sources on your chosen social problem
  • Most articles should be scholarly.
  • Find sources that cover at least 2 cultures other than US.
  • Gather data from the U.S. and international sources.
  • Use the research and data to write about a resolution for the social problem.
