Company Research: Directories

Strategies and resources for conducting research on a company's financials, operations, and industry environment

Why directories?

Are you trying to select a company to research on the basis of industry, size, or location?

Unsure whether a company is public or private?

Establishing this information at the outset with the aid of company information directories will help you develop a research strategy.

A directory lists organizations, individuals, institutions, or even resources, often with contact information such as name, address, phone, email, and social media accounts. Whereas print directory listings are customarily presented in alphabetical order or a subject/theme arrangement, electronic formats typically possess the additional advantage of an online search interface.
