Welcome to the class! My name is Gwyneth Stupar and I have been a librarian at Oakton for 6 years. This is an excellent assignment because as you go through life, you may be called upon to research a particular non profit or business for your own knowledge.
This workshop will help you find supporting information for your speeches. For one assignment you will research a non-profit organization, using at least two outside sources including an expert interview. For the Persuasive Speech, students will present a well-researched solution to a problem facing society.
