AI and ChatGPT

You're Already Using AI.

Spelling and grammar checkers like Grammarly and writing simplifiers like the Hemingway Editor are examples of AI we already use to improve our writing. And anytime you ask Siri or Alexa or Google a question, you're using AI as well. Maps and navigation systems incorporate AI to make GPS navigation smarter. And the algorithms that provide better searches on Google or Bing, or even recommend videos on YouTube are all using the information of users to generate improved content and response.

Authors Using ChatGPT

"There were over 200 e-books in Amazon's Kindle Store as of mid-February listing ChatGPT as an author or co-autthor, including "How to Write and Create Content Using ChatGPT," "The Power of Homework," and poetry collection "Echoes of the Universe." And the number is rising daily. There is even a new sub-genre on Amazon: Books about using ChatGPT, written entirely by ChatGPT.

But due to the nature of ChatGPT and many authors' failure to disclosed they have used it, it is nearly impossible to get a full accounting of how many e-books may have been written by AI."

AI in Medicine

According to the National Library of Medicine, "The potential applications of ChatGPT in the medical field range from identifying potential research topics to assisting professionals in clinical and laboratory diagnosis. Additionally, it can be used to help medical students, doctors, nurses, and all members of the healthcare fraternity to know about updates and new developments in their respective fields. The development of virtual assistants to aid patients in managing their health is another important application of ChatGPT in medicine."
