The Trump administration's push for federal agencies to recognize only two genders: male and female, as assigned at birth is resulting in the removal of information about transgender people and/or LGBTQ+ people across government websites. Check all government resources against additional resources as information is being removed from many websites rendering them inaccurate.
- U.S. Park Service Strikes Transgender References From Stonewall WebsiteThe Stonewall Riots, a critical event in the contemporary LGBTQ+ movement occurred in June 1969 and was led by transgender members of the community. Mentions of trans folks have been removed from the national website commemorating the event.
