 being exactly as intended or presented: not spurious or false.​

As you look at videos and images, listen to podcasts, or analyze charts/infographics, you want to be asking yourself, "Is It Legit?".

What should you look for as you choose sources?

This guide serves as a starting point to gain a general understanding of how to navigate the library's resources and the internet to determine if something you have found is "LEGIT".  At the end of each page, we have included a section with media-specific, helpful tips you can use to determine whether or not something is a.) Legit, and b.) the right fit for your assignment.  So, if you have only cited articles in your research previously, have no fear. You've come to the right place!
