The Learning Center is available to answer questions during the following business hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Both email and voicemail are being checked throughout the day, and will be returned within 24 business hours. Please be sure to include your name and Oakton ID in any communications.

Professional Level Support - Learning Specialists are available through email and Google Meet to answer questions, and to assist with adjusting to the new flexible learning environment.

*Learning Specialists can provide consultations designed to improve students’ learning skills, and conduct individual meetings designed to cover topics such as: time management, test preparation strategies, procrastination, note-taking, textbook reading, stress management, learning styles, and memory skills.
