Registration Dates
When attempting to register students will get a pop-up window with the following message:
Please note that due to the ongoing concerns for the health and safety of Oakton students and employees during the COVID-19 pandemic, the fall schedule, mode of delivery, and/or course resource requirements for certain fall classes may change. All changes will be communicated to students as appropriate. If social distancing guidelines prevent classes from meeting regularly on campus this fall, students may be expected to meet virtually during the times and days scheduled for face-to-face courses. Some online and hybrid classes may have required virtual class activities on specific days and times. This is indicated in the schedule or in the notes section for the course.
Students will have to "agree to the terms and conditions" before proceeding with registration.
Enrollment Services assists students with general questions about processes related to Admissions, Financial Aid, Registration, and Records including prerequisites, class overrides, holds, online registration, payment options, FAFSA process and verification, proof of residency, student record changes, application issues, and steps for new student enrollment/orientation.
Staff will be available to answer questions during the hours of remote operations. Questions received outside of operation hours will generally be addressed within one business days.
Cynthia (Bunny) Lynn, international student and health careers advisor, is available to assist F1 status students, students with visas or out of country transcripts questions at 847-635-1713 or lynn@oakton.edu.
The Cashier is available to answer questions regarding bills, payments, and payment plans.
They are available Monday - Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 847.635.1639 or cashier@oakton.edu.

Registrar Services staff may be contacted for questions about the academic calendar, petition to graduate, transcripts, and enrollment verification.
Oakton transcripts may be requested at Transcripts Plus. There is an option to have an electronic academic transcript securely emailed to another college, university, or personal email address. Electronic academic transcripts are recommended at this time.
Graduation/Degree Conferral: The Registrar Services department will continue to evaluate students’ petitions to graduate in order to confer degrees and certificates after the spring semester concludes. The date to pick up diplomas will be announced after the College reopens.
