Oakton Course Exams: Exams that are required as part of a course will be coordinated by individual instructors. Please be in communication with your instructor for direction as to how exams will be conducted in your course.

Some instructors may ask students to take online proctored exams/tests using the Honorlock online proctoring service. At this time, students will not be charged to take an exam.

  • Honorlock is a resource available to students and faculty. Honorlock is a proctoring service for exams administered in a virtual learning environment.
  • Honorlock Directions and FAQs for students are located in
MyOakton: MyCourses: Online Learning Resources: D2L Student Tutorials.

Placement Testing: English and math placement testing is currently suspended. This means you cannot complete a placement test at this time. Please continue to check back for updates on placement testing.

Please note there are multiple ways to meet placement, so it’s always best to check with an advisor to see if you need to take a test.
